  5. Under standard UNIX facilities, batch jobs, which are dependent on others,
  6. cannot be changed. User control and security is limited. Xi-Batch overcomes
  7. these shortcomings. Xi-Batch provides fully interactive screen-based queue
  8. management. The display is refreshed dynamically as the job progresses. Single
  9. keystroke commands enable details of jobs, and the resource assigned to them,
  10. to be changed quickly and easily. Xi-Batch which is easily inserted in the
  11. place of cron, is fully configurable on a per-user or system-wide basis. The
  12. user can change the format of the screens, help messages and even the command
  13. keystrokes at will. Xi-Batch now provides full TCP/IP network support allowing
  14. multiple independent job queues on mutiple UNIX hosts. Windows/DOS option
  15. allows networked PCs access to Xi-Batch facilities.
